The exhibition is in two parts: Da Nang then and now. In particular, the ‘Da Nang then’ space features documents and images from the times of the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-45) to 1975 about Dien Hai Citadel, Da Nang Port, and Da Nang's resistance war against the French-Spanish coalition forces.

Meanwhile, the ‘Da Nang now’ space introduces to viewers many images from the city’s liberation day in March 1975 to the present, especially providing archival documents about Da Nang in two stages: under Quang Nam - Da Nang Province and becoming a city directly-governed by the Central Government.

Lasting until September 6, the exhibition helps the public have a panoramic view of the city from the past to the present, providing a source of documents of special value for historical research and the spiritual life of the people.
