More than 20 cultural and artistic activities will take place in Da Nang to serve the entertainment needs of people and tourists on the occasion of the 79^th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2024) and the National Day (September 2, 1945-2024), according to the municipal Department of Culture and Sports.

Specifically, a youth art playground, a singing and dancing contest, a cultural and artistic exchange "Han River Dance", and a street music programme will be organised along the both banks of the Han River on weekends.

Mobile film screening will be held in the campuses of ward-level People’s Committees in Hai Chau District every Friday from August 16 to September 13.

On August 25 and September 22, the Random Dance Kpop programme will take place in the Bach Dang Walking Street.

A film screening programme celebrating the 79^th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945-2024) and the National Day (September 2, 1945-2024) will be organised at the Le Do Theatre from August 28 - 30.

Between August 30 and September 7, the 3^rd Da Nang Reading Culture Festival 2024 will take place at the General Science Library. A street carnival will be held on August 31 along Tran Hung Dao Street.

In addition, there will be the Viet Nam - Korea Festival 2024, Ao Dai show, Charming Da Nang art performance, and jetski and flyboard underwater art shows.
