SHB Da Nang clearly shows its determination to prepare for the new season. The club's leaders prioritise retaining key players and adding quality new players.
In particular, the local football team has successfully convinced Coach Truong Viet Hoang to sign a contract until 2026. This is good news for local fans because Coach Truong Viet Hoang has made many important contributions to help the team win the 2023-2024 National First Division championship and be promoted to the V-League.
Aside from impressive professional achievements, Coach Truong Viet Hoang wins the trust of Da Nang fans because of his extensive experience. He has helped the team overcome many challenges and affirm its ability.
In addition, SHB Da Nang continues to cooperate with Brazilian fitness coach Luiz Alberto, which is considered a correct and necessary decision. The management board of the local football team hopes that the Brazilian coach will make full use of experience of working with football teams in Brazil and the UAE to maintain the local players' fitness at the highest level, contributing to helping the team achieve the best results in the coming time.
In the new league season, SHB Da Nang will continue working with outstanding players such as Luong Duy Cuong, Nguyen Cong Nhat, Dang Anh Tuan, Nguyen Minh Quang and Phan Van Long who made great contributions in the journey to conquer the National First Division championship.
Moreover, the club has recruited full-back Le Quang Hung from Becamex Binh Duong Club, along with three foreign players namely Brazilian defender Marlon Rangel, Uzbekistan midfielder Jahongir Abdumominov and Brazilian striker Yuri Mamute.
Marlon Rangel is a mainstay in the journey with Binh Dinh Club to earn the runner-up position in V-League 2023-2024. He joined SHB Da Nang after his contract with the Binh Dinh Club expired.
Meanwhile, Jahongir Abdumominov started playing in the V-League in 2021 and has made many contributions to the The Cong - Viettel.
SHB Da Nang's goal-scoring task next season will be entrusted to Yuri Mamute, a former U20 Brazil striker. The Brazilian striker, born in 1995, is no stranger to Vietnamese fans as playing for Hai Phong Club in phase 2 of V-League 2023. In 8 matches of Hai Phong Club, Yuri Mamute played 6 matches and scored 5 goals.
According to Coach Truong Viet Hoang, currently, the club’s members are taking part in hard training programmes at the SHB Da Nang Youth Football Training Centre.
Mr. Le Van Hieu, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SHB Da Nang Sports JSC and Chairman of SHB Da Nang Club, said that the club will strive to build its own identity, and affirm the brand of Da Nang football. The new season brings many challenges, requiring the team to focus on training and competition to meet the expectations of fans, he added.
