At a press conference on Saturday, it was announced that the 2^nd edition of the Da Nang Golf Club Championship for Khuong Nguyen Cup will take place on September 28 and 29 at the Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An.

The tournament will see the participation of nearly 200 golfers from 9 golf clubs in the city: Xu Nghe in Da Nang, Vietvillage (Vietvillage Club & Fusion Club alliance), Sunday, Da Nang Businessman, Dear Brothers, The King, DN82, Da Nang Polytechnic and SLG.DAD.

The participating golfers will be divided into 4 groups to compete in the qualifying rounds and the final round in a match play format without handicaps, with each team playing 16 matches. Each win is worth 1 point, a draw is worth 0.5 points. The team scores the most points will be the winner.

At the end of the tournament, the trophy and gold medal will be given to the champion team, whilst the second-place team will receive a silver medal and the third-place team will get a bronze medal. In addition, the top 3 finishers will earn tickets to the final round of the Central Regional Golf Club Championship.

This year's tournament promises to be exciting and dramatic with the participation of excellent athletes from golf clubs in the city.

According to Mr. Mai Minh Vuong, Vice President and General Secretary of the Da Nang Golf Association, following the success of the previous tournament, this year's Da Nang Golf Club Championship promises to be attractive and dramatic with the participation of excellent golfers citywide.

The tournament aims to create opportunities for golfers to exchange and share experiences, and build close relationships, as well as to promote the development of the golf movement in Da Nang.
