The Cham relic site nestled in Phong Le Village began to be excavated in 2011-2012 and then continued to be excavated in 2018.

Discoveries through the excavation campaigns all confirm that the Cham relic site nestled in Phong Le Village is very valuable and plays a very important role in the system of Cham cultural works in Viet Nam and in the region. Therefore, the conservation and promotion of the value of the Cham relic site in Phong Le Village is urgent and necessary.

Currently, the Management Board of the Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects in Da Nang is coordinating with relevant units to research, build, and complete the planning and architectural plan for the second campus of the Museum of Cham Sculpture (Phase 1) in Phong Le Village, and send it to the municipal Department of Construction for synthesis and reporting to the People's Committee for consideration and decision.
