Art programme and photo exhibition "80 years of Pride - Firm Steps to Future"

The art programme and photo exhibition themed "80 years of Pride - Firm Steps to the Future" was officially opened at Da Nang’s APEC Sculpture Park on Sunday.

Organised by the People’s Committee of Hai Chau District, the event aims to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defence Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

The arts programme features 11 performances praising the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers, and their silent sacrifices and the spirit in training and fighting.

On display at the exhibition are 80 photos captured by 35 photographers showcasing the strength of the military units, and the images of the border, islands and the beloved Nu Village.

The exhibition runs until December 31 at the APEC Sculpture Park and junior high schools in the district. It contributes to arousing the spirit of national pride and self-respect, and educating cadres, soldiers, armed forces and people, especially the young generation, about the glorious revolutionary tradition.
