The Da Nang Photography Club recently held a meeting to review its activities in 2024.

Photographer Huynh Van Truyen, Chairman of the Da Nang Photography Club, presented commemorative medals to outstanding members.

In 2024 alone, the Da Nang Photography Club successfully organised many photography events. Notable among them were a humanistic exhibition "Proud of the Fatherland's Border" at La Êê Border Guard Station in Quang Nam Province, and an exhibition celebrating the 80^th anniversary of the founding of the Viet Nam People's Army at the APEC Sculpture Park.

These exhibitions not only honoured the image of soldiers protecting the country but also expressed deep gratitude to the army and border guards. Each photo on display told touching stories, and showed the beauty of solidarity and silent sacrifices on the front lines.

Aside from exhibitions, the club members gained 67 prizes at regional and national photography competitions. Some outstanding members such as Truong Cong Minh and Thai Quan Chung won high awards, affirming the quality of the Club's activities.

In addition to arts activities, the Club raised more than VND 124 million to expand exhibitions, organise workshops, and support creative work for members.

During the event, tasks for 2025 were outlined with a focus on increasing thematic creation, developing the socialisation movement and connecting new members.

The Club plans to organize more training sessions for its members to improve skills, facilitate them to participate in major competitions at home and abroad, and continue to accompany the city's cultural and sports activities.
