On display at the exhibition are 200 images, documents and artifacts showcasing the formation, combat and development process of the Viet Nam People's Army, along with typical feats of army. The exhibition space is divided into four parts: the establishment and growth of the Viet Nam People's Army in the resistance war against the French colonialists, strength of the Viet Nam People's Army in the resistance war against the US, firmly protecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, and building a strong national defence.
In addition, the event emphasises the role of the armed forces of Military Region 5 in the cause of national construction and defence.
