The Da Nang X’mas - New Year Festival 2025 officially opened on the northern landscape floor at the eastern end of the Dragon Bridge on Friday evening.

Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong (right) presented flowers to Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy for accompanying the city's event.

The opening ceremony took place in a vibrant atmosphere with special variety performances by professional international artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area and flashmobs by children.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was a parade of more than 600 professional and semi-professional dancers dressed in Santa Claus and Snow Queen, plus impressively decorated reindeer models, along the Bach Dang Walking Street.

Notably, the parade was attended by Miss International 2024 Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy and a group of international artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area.

The artists paraded on the Bach Dang Walking Street and danced at rest stops at the intersections of Binh Minh 6 and Bach Dang streets, Binh Minh 4 and Bach Dang streets, the APEC Sculpture Park, and 2025 letter model.

At the Light Christmas Tree - the end of the parade, professional and semi-professional dancers performed and interacted with locals and tourists to create a jubilant and exciting Christmas atmosphere.

Within the framework of the Da Nang X’mas - New Year Festival 2025, at 5:30 pm on the northern landscape floor at the eastern end of Dragon Bridge on December 24, the meaningful gift giving programme "Fun with Santa Claus" promises to bring more than 3,000 attractive gifts to both locals and tourists, espcially children.
