The Spring Newspaper Festival 2025 themed ‘Da Nang Press accompanies the city in integration and development’ officially opened at the APEC Sculpture Park on Friday morning.

Head of the Central Party Committee’s Commission for Popularisation and Education in Central Highlands - Central Region Nguyen The Hoa, Head of the Da Nang Party Committee's Department for Popularisation and Education Doan Ngoc Hung Anh, Head of the municipal Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department Tran Thang Loi, and Secretary of the Hai Chau District Party Committee Cao Thi Huyen Tran made their attendance at the event.

In his remarks at the opening ceremony of the festival, Chairman of the municipal Journalists' Association cum Editor-in-Chief of the Da Nang Newspaper Nguyen Duc Nam said that the 3-day event featured 800 publications of newspapers, magazines, newsletters from central and local press agencies.

The event offered the good opportunity for participants to look back at the outstanding achievements of press agencies and journalists in the past year, but also for press agencies to affirm their important role in the cause of the city’s building and development.

Over the past year, journalists made efforts to approach real life to get new information, as well as connect with authorities at all levels, experts, scientists, and managers to bring readers authentic and reliable information.

In particular, press agencies and journalists in the city have made efforts to adapt to digital transformation, creating multimedia press products to meet readers' information needs at all times.

“The press products displayed at the Spring Newspaper Festival clearly demonstrate innovation in content and form, with many creative approaches, in line with the digital transformation journey, spreading the image of a beautiful life in the integration and development process of localities as well as the whole country”, emphasised Chairman Nam.

During the festival, there are a booth introducing 150 local OCOP agricultural products, and an exhibition showcasing 50 beautiful photographic works about the city.
