Da Nang’s leaders, plus international guests and leaders of cities and localities setting up with friendly and cooperative relations with Da Nang, attended a number of accompanying activities within the framework of the City Partnership Forum - Da Nang 2025 in the city on Saturday.

Speaking at the tree planting ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Ho Ky Minh shared that, in response to President Ho Chi Minh's call for "Tet tree planting" along with the desire to strengthen the friendship and cooperation between Da Nang and localities of other foreign countries, the Da Nang People's Committee selected more than 50 ‘dau rai’ trees, with scientific name of Dipterocarpus alatus Roxb, to plant at Suoi Nguon Friendship Park in Son Tra District. These are trees with strong and vigorous vitality, symbolising more than 50 localities of 24 countries in the world with which Da Nang has established cooperative relations.

After the friendship tree planting ceremony, the delegates visited the Da Nang Museum. They were the first visitors to the new museum before its official inauguration on March 29, 2025.

The exhibition space features four parts: permanent exhibition, history of nature and people of Da Nang, history of urban development, and culture of Da Nang. The unique highlight of the museum is the modern technological equipment such as LED panels, automatic movie projection systems, and the most modern automatic sensors.

Also, the delegates visited the exhibition on friendship and cooperation cities on the first floor of the APEC Sculpture Park. The exhibition reflects the journey of building friendly and cooperative relationships between Da Nang and 50 localities of foreign countries, and the development achievements of the city.

The purpose of the exhibition spreads the message that Da Nang is a "smart and innovation city", "city of events and international integration", and "city of tourism and sustainable development" to international friends.
