Architect Ho Khue from Da Nang has won the title "Architect of the Year", whilst the Son Tra Artistic Exhibition House has been honoured with the title “Building of the Year” of the 13^th Ashui Awards 2024.

The title "Building of the Year" goes to the Son Tra Artistic Exhibition House in Da Nang designed by Ho Khue Architect.

Established in 2012, Ashui Awards are likened to the Oscar of the Vietnamese architecture and construction industry. The awards include "Architect of the Year", "Building of the Year", "Contractor of the Year", "Investor of the Year", "Engineering of the Year", "Future Project of the Year", "Green Build of the Year", "Housing of the Year", "Interior of the Year" and "Joint Project of the Year".

The results were based on the votes of the community (30%) and the Selection Council (70%), ending at 12:00 on December 30, 2024 via the awards website www.ashui.com/awards.

Typical projects that Architect Ho Khue has designed include the AEC 4B Tower, Ecopark Song Lam Urban Area, Quang Nam Textile Factory Office, An Nhien House, Lantern House, and Green Peace Village.

Notably, he designed the Son Tra Artistic Exhibition House which won the title "Project of the Year". The project has a green park on the roof, a place for walking and exercising, as well as an ideal view for visitors. The work has contributed a bright, positive color that is extremely necessary for today's urban space.

Previously, in August 2024, the Son Tra Artistic Exhibition House won the encouragement prize in the Cultural Architecture category of the Architecture Masterprize (AMP) of the United States founded by Farmani Group (USA) since 2007.
