The Vietnamese Tet Festival 2025 is taking place in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District until January 21.

It is a large-scale cultural event to promote the image of Hoa Vang, recreate the traditional cultural space of the nation, and attract more tourists to visit and experience activities for Tet celebration.

Festival-goers have the opportunity to experience the ancient Tet space with restored ancient houses, decorated to depict the traditional Tet atmosphere; participate in such exciting games as ‘bai choi’ and lottery singing, and folk games; experience display space for typical agricultural products of Yeongyang District, Gyeongsangbuk Province, South Korea.

In addition, there are booths for visitors to shop for products to prepare for Tet, including OCOP products, handicrafts, textiles, fashion items and ornamental plants.

Visitors can also try dishes with the flavour of Tet, watch the ‘Banh Chung’ and ‘Banh Tet’ cooking contest, and enjoy nightly art programmes.

On Friday evening, the People's Committee of Cam Le District opened the Vietnamese Tet programme in 2025 in celebration of the 95^th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).

Lasting until January 19, the programme features many special activities including the art programme "Celebrating the Party - Spring", food booths, folk games, calligraphy writing, ‘Bai Choi’ performances, and ‘Banh Chung’ and ‘Banh Tet’ cooking contest.

In addition, there are many booths serving the needs of shopping for Tet goods such as OCOP products, handicrafts, flowers and ornamental plants, contributing to promoting the image of Cam Le District, recreating the traditional cultural space of the nation, meeting the needs of entertainment, enjoying spiritual culture of the people, and attracting tourists to the locality.
