The Da Nang Women's Union organized the art programme entitled "Da Nang's heroic spirit - Aspiration to fly up" at the city’s March 29 Square on Saturday evening.

The art programm featured a number of interesting and meaningful performances with the participation of 2,000 female cadres and members. Included were scenes recreating the heroic spirit and steadfastness of the army and people of Da Nang in the campaign to liberate the city; flashmob performances on the background music of songs about Da Nang and local people; and the Phoenix Dance performance combined with the Dragon Dance team's performance.

Responding to the series of events welcoming March, the municipal Women's Union proposed that the city support the construction of the Memorial House of the Women's Union for the Liberation of Zone 5; visit the heroic Vietnamese Mothers, the patriotic female prisoners, and the female heroes of the People's Armed Forces living in the city; launch a contest to learn about the history of Da Nang and the movement of the Union; and join hands to care for the material and spiritual life of the people, especially the heroic martyrs.

On the occasion, the Da Nang Women's Union honoured 10 outstanding Women's chapters in 2024, as well as presented prizes to winners of the online contest to learn about the history of the municipal Party Committee and the union’s movements. A representative of the Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park Tourist Area presented 2,700 vouchers to the municipal Women's Union.
