The event was meant to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang (March 29, 1975 - 2025) and the 65th anniversary of the twinning of Da Nang and Hai Phong (1960 - 2025).

Director of Hai Phong Museum and Library Bui Thi Nguyet Nga highlighted the importance of the exhibition in contributing to awakening and promoting the potential of precious heritage hidden in Hai Phong to friends nationwide and internationally, especially the people of Da Nang.

She stated Hai Phong today not only develops strongly in terms of economy, industry, and seaports but is also a major tourist centre of the country associated with typical tourism products of the coastal city and historical and cultural relics. She added the event helped strengthen and consolidate the cooperative relationship between the two museums.

Also featuring in the part is the cooperation, solidarity, and sharing of socio-economic development experiences between the two localities over the past 65 years.
