Concert of the New York Classical Music Society
A musical concert of the New York Classical Music Society (NYCMS) was held at Da Nang’s Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre on Tuesday.

Co-organised by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations and the Duy Tan University, the event aimed to introduce Western classical music to the people of the city.
During the event, 15 talented artists of NYCMS performed 13 special performances bringing deep and wonderful emotions to the audience.
“In recent times, the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations and the Viet Nam - South Korea Friendship Association have actively coordinated with relevant agencies, units and partners to organise many diverse and rich activities of peace, solidarity, friendship and people-to-people cooperation. With the role of cultural diplomacy, the concert has contributed to enhancing mutual understanding between Da Nang in particular and Viet Nam in general and countries around the world” said Chairman of the municipal Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Ngoc Binh.
Mr. Kang Boo Sung, the Consul General of South Korea in Da Nang, said that South Korea and Viet Nam have been sharing a deep friendship for a long time as well as maintaining vibrant cultural exchanges based on cultural similarities.
In the future, the South Korean Consulate General in Da Nang will continue to conduct exchange activities to further understand the cultures of the two countries. The NYCMS concert contributed to enriching the artistic exchange between South Korea and Viet Nam.
