In particular, the wards in Hai Chau District are responsible for offering trays of traditional cakes, five fruits, flower baskets, betel and areca nuts in order to express gratitude and respect to the ancestors who founded the village, and the generations of fathers who built and protected Hai Chau Land in particular, Da Nang in general.

The Hai Chau Village Communal House Festival is maintained and organised annually, aimed at preserving and promoting cultural values, and honouring the beauty of the Vietnamese countryside. The event is a symbol of the spirit of national solidarity, and is also a bridge connecting today's people with the past of the early days of establishing villages and hamlets, thereby contributing to enriching the spiritual and cultural life.
