Located at 155 Phan Chau Trinh Street in Da Nang, the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre, with its traditional Vietnamese musical performances, is trying to attract more local and foreign audiences.

On Wednesdays and Saturdays at 7.30pm, the 210-seat theatre presents its special musical show entitled “The Countryside Picture” to fascinate domestic and foreign visitors.  During this hour-long show, they are treated to live Vietnamese traditional music, solo performances on traditional musical instruments, colourful-costumed dancers, humorous short sketches, and delightful folk songs.  These performances by the theatre’s accomplished artistes always win warm applause from the audience, especially from the foreign visitors. 

Tickets are priced at 50,000 VND per person for both locals and foreigners, and can be purchased at the theatre.  They can also be purchased over the phone by calling +84 511 3561293. 

Apart from this standard show, the theatre will also perform any specially requested items at a cost of 5 million VND per show.  Requests should be made at least 24 hours in advance.

In addition, the theatre’s artistes will stage a different traditional classical drama at 7.30pm on the last Sunday of each month.
