Funded by the Viet Nam Import-Export Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank), the Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarships, each worth 5 million VND, were given to 100 poor studious students from Da Nang’s member universities on Monday.  The event was co-organised by the Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper, Eximbank, and the University of Da Nang.

At the event, the President of the University of Da Nang, Dr Tran Van Nam, thanked Eximbank and the Youth Newspaper’s Nguyen Thai Binh Scholarship Fund for their kind help given to the students.  He added that he hoped the students would do their utmost to gain even more outstanding achievements during the next academic year, and become good citizens.
