A National Science and Technology Week is taking place in Da Nang from 7 - 10 May to celebrate the 2014 Viet Nam Science and Technology Day, which falls on 18 May.  The special day will take “Science and Technology - Driving Force for Rapid and Sustainable Development” as its theme. 

The city’s science and technology week features a workshop on the mechanism and policies for the science and technology sector, and an international seminar on publicity activities for science and technology.  In addition, there is an exhibition about remarkable achievements in science and technology innovation and publicity.

The training course

As part of the week, a training course on enhancing the professional publicity skills for employees from science and technology departments nationwide took place in the city on Wednesday afternoon.
