Today (15 July) a total of 1,924 candidates started their first day of this year's college entrance examinations in Da Nang.

The examinations, which are being held today and tomorrow, are for students in Group A (mathematics, physics and chemistry), A1 (mathematics, physics and English), B (mathematics, chemistry and biology), D (mathematics, literature and foreign languages), and C (literature, history and geography).

This morning, the candidates in groups A, A1, B and D took the mathematics test, whilst those in group C took geography.  This afternoon, students in groups A and B sat their test in chemistry, group A1 took the English test, group D have taken the foreign languages tests, and candidates of group C took history.

Tomorrow, the students will sit the tests in their third subjects. 

A total of 174 employees and teaching staff members of the city’s education sector are involved in monitoring the examinations.
