The semi-finals and final of the 2014 Robot Contest for senior high school pupils took place at Da Nang’s Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School on Thursday.

This year’s contest, which has “Viet Nam's Sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa Archipelagos, New Creativity” as its theme, saw the participation of 21 teams from 19 senior high schools in the city, and from 2 in Quang Nam Province.

As a result, the first prize of 10 million VND in cash was given to the LQD Newbie Team from the city’s Le Quy Don Senior High School for Gifted Students.  PCT Pikachu and PCT Rangers teams, both from Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School, won the second prize of 5 million VND and the third prize of 3 million VND respectively.  A commendation prize of 1 million VND was awarded to NT Quasar Team from the Nguyen Trai Senior High School.
