Last Friday, Da Nang’s over 200,000 pupils and their teachers attended opening ceremonies for the 2014 - 2015 academic year.  Also present at the events were some of the city’s leaders who delivered congratulatory messages.  They also urged the Department of Education and Training to continue to work towards even more remarkable achievements during this new school year.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School, the municipal Party Secretary, Mr Tran Tho, extended his best wishes to the school’s teaching staff and pupils.  He affirmed that the school has a long history, and an excellent reputation for providing quality education which has significantly contributed to the development of high-quality human resources for the city.  This has been a source of great pride for the school’s teaching staff, and is in accordance with the city’s policy on the development of the local education and training sector.
