The summit will take “ICT - The New Paradigm in Social-Economic Development and Agriculture Restructuring” as its theme.  The forum combines together 2 important events: the Vietnam ICT Summit and the ASOCIO ICT Summit.

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and former Japanese Prime Minister Yuki Hatoyama will deliver speeches at the event.

This year’s event will focus on discussing strategies and solutions to promote ICT applications in implementing agriculture restructuring and creating a new rural development model.  This will ensure comprehensive competitiveness amongst localities, businesses and organisations in the Asia-Oceania region.

Within the framework of the forum, there will be the ICT Best Practices Exhibition, the Japan ICT Day 2014, networking activities, business matchmaking, company visits, seminars, and networking meetings with companies in Da Nang.

The ASOCIO ICT Summit is the biggest and most important annual event for the Asian-Oceania software, IT, and communications industry.
