Pilot German teaching project at 2 junior high schools

On Tuesday morning, the Central Agency for German Schools Abroad (ZfA) opened its branch office at Da Nang’s Tran Quy Cap Junior High School.

At the event, representatives from ZfA and the Cam Le District People’s Committee entered into a cooperative agreement to implement a pilot German teaching project at Tran Quy Cap and Nguyen Thien Thuat junior high schools in the district.

Under the agreement, the schools’ pupils will be taught German by Vietnamese and German teachers 4 times a week for the duration of 4 school years.  After graduation from junior high schools, all of them will be enrolled into Hoa Vang Senior High School to continue learning German.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Deputy Consulate General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Olaf Malchow, paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee, Mr Dang Viet Dung.
