Training programme on restaurant and hotel services to start at DAU
A 9-month training programme on restaurant and hotel services, as well as related English skills, will soon start at the city’s Dong A University (DAU). The announcement was made jointly by the Australian Embassy in Viet Nam, the William Angliss Institute (WAI) in Australia, and the DAU.
Funded by the Australian government at a cost of up to 250,000 AUD, the programme will provide courses for a total of 80 trainees from Da Nang, and the central region as a whole. 60 of the trainees will be taught reception skills, whilst the remainder will learn how to become chefs at hi-end restaurants and hotels.
The training programme will be organised at DAU, with teachers from WAI delivering the ASEAN-standard lessons. Certificates from WAI will be awarded to graduates.
DAU will provide all the necessary information about enrolment for the programme as soon as possible.
