On Thursday, representatives from Kyungdong University (KDU) in South Korea granted 4-year scholarships, worth over 9 billion VND in total, to 19 senior high school pupils from Da Nang who are going to study at KDU.  The granting of the scholarships aims to further promote the bilateral cultural and educational cooperation between Viet Nam and South Korea.

Amongst the recipients, 4 pupils were each given a scholarship for 70% tuition fee exemption, whilst the remainder each got a half tuition fee scholarship.

KDU is one of the prestigious universities in South Korea and offers a wide range of courses in various subjects.  Most notably, it boasts a high employment rate for students after graduation.
