Da Nang’s Duy Tan University and the newly-established municipal Department of Tourism recently co-organised a job fair at the university for its final-year students from the Faculty of Tourism Operations and Hospitality Management.

The event attracted the participation of over 20 local tourism businesses including InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Premier Village Danang Resort, Vinpearl Premium Resort, Meliá Danang, Sandy Beach Non Nuoc Resort Da Nang, and Fusion Suites Danang Beach.

The businesses offered a total of over 1,000 job opportunities in their kitchens, restaurants, receptions and entertainment services.

In addition to employment consultancy services provided for the students, the event also featured many tourism promotion activities in table, bar, room and kitchen services, reception, hotel management, event organisation, tour guiding, and other operational aspects.

At the event, the university also entered into cooperation agreements with the participating businesses with the aim of helping the university enhance the efficiency of its training programmes to meet the recruitment requirements of local businesses.
