As many as 400 scientists from universities and institutes nationwide attended the 10^th national scientific seminar on information technology (IT) applications at Da Nang’s University of Education on 17 and 18 August..

The 2-day event was jointly organised by the University, the Viet Nam Union of Science and Technology Associations, and the Viet Nam Academy of Science and Technology.

A total of 123 scientific reports, involved in such matters as information safety and security, data processing, and IT training courses in the new technology era prior to the 4^th Industrial Revolution, were represented at the event.

In addition, discussions focused on issues relating to the role of cryptography in ensuring national information safety and security, research orientations for the University’s Computer Science Faculty, IT research activities at the University of Da Nang, and blockchain industry - the 5^th wave in computing.
