Da Nang International Institute of Technology opens
The Da Nang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) officially made its debut and began operating in the city last Friday.

The establishment of the Institute, which is based at the University of Da Nang (UDN) at 41 Le Duan, was part of the jointly-signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between UDN, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS) in France, and the Francophone University Association (AUF).
DNIIT is responsible for promoting multi-disciplinary international cooperation in scientific research and training activities, and enhancing the research capacity of UDN’s staff members and students. These will thereby help UDN achieve its target of becoming a research-oriented university in the near future.
Moreover, DNIIT is in charge of conducting multi-disciplinary scientific research, postgraduate training, technology transfer and scientific information publicity activities between UDN and large universities worldwide, especially UNS and AUF.
DNIIT comprises of the centres for research and technology transfer, training management and science information, and Francophone digital activities.
To mark the occasion, DNIIT, UDN and the city’s University of Science and Technology together entered into MoU on boosting their scientific cooperation, training and technology transfer activities. Under this agreement, the joint ‘Smart Campus’ campaign will be implemented, with a focus on promoting technological applications and invention research to develop automated services based on new connectivity technologies and artificial intelligence.
