On Monday, a ceremony took place at Da Nang’s Trung Vuong Theatre to honour 11 local students who had gained top marks in local universities and junior colleges they applied for.

In attendance at the event were municipal People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho, and Head of the local Department of Publicity and Training Dang Viet Dung, along with over 1,000 outstanding students representing over 11,000 this year’s freshmen.

Also at the event, 34 other students were honoured and rewarded for their best results they had achieved in the 2016 - 2017 academic year.

In addition, the participating students had the chance to meet with representatives from local businesses to learn about their future job opportunities.
