On Sunday, the Da Nang Trade Union honoured outstanding children of its members in the city in recognition of the 89^th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam Trade Union.

The municipal Trade Union presented scholarships, valued at 1 million VND each, to 104 pupils who were first, second and third-prize winners at international, national and municipal-level contests for excellent pupils, and those who had gained top and runner-up marks in this year’s university entrance examinations.

In addition, 7 bicycles were given to poor studious pupils in the 2017 - 2018 academic year.

On the same day, a total of 245 pupils participated in a honouring camp in the city.

Organised by the city’s Trade Union, the annual camp aims to create useful playgrounds for outstanding children of its members.

During the camp, the children visited the Hoang Sa Exhibition House and the Asian Park, plus took part in such exciting activities as a ‘Ring the Golden Bell’ competition, and a camp fire.
