This year’s challenge will focus on solutions for cancer care in low- and middle-income countries, which bear a disproportionate burden of the global cancer epidemic.
Patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and concerned citizens who want to improve cancer care are encouraged to propose ideas that address specific challenges in the following three categories: support tools, educational tools and technology.
The winner of each category will present their ideas to a panel of judges at the annual World Cancer Congress on 3 October, 2018, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The three prizes will together be worth 100,000US$ (one of 50,000$ and two of 25,000$). The Tokyo-based Astellas Pharma Inc is the sponsor of the awards.
Entries will be accepted until 25 July, 2018.
