Being born in a rural area in Quang Nam Province’s Nui Thanh District, Mrs Loan exerted every effort to overcome her difficulties to be enrolled into the city’s University of Education to study the Maths and Informatics Major.

After graduating, Mrs Loan has been teaching Informatics at the Phu Dong Primary School.

The 38-year-old teacher has done her utmost to find the best teaching methods and documents in order to help her pupils love this dry subject.

After hearing the news that a person in Ha Noi owns perfect documents about how to teach Informatics effectively, Mrs Loan travelled to the Vietnamese capital to meet with the author to ask for the documents.

Being very impressed by the enthusiasm of Mrs Loan, the author of the documents gave her all things he had.

With the useful documents, Mrs Loan has made her lessons become more fun and exciting. Thanks to this, she has kept her classes interesting, grabbed her pupils’ attention, and kept them engaged in class.

Since then, the dedicated teacher has been responsible for training a group of pupils to compete in Informatics contests at municipal and national levels. As a result, her pupils have gained outstanding achievements at these contests.

In particular, 24 out of 28 pupils from the school won prizes at the municipal-level Youth Informatics Contest during the 2009 - 2010 academic year. One of them got a prize at the National Youth Informatics Contest.

A Year 5 pupil Hoang Bach from the school took the second place at the National Youth Informatics Contest during the 2015 - 2016 school year.

Another Year 5 pupil Nguyen Huu Nhat Quang took the first place at the National Youth Informatics Contest in the 2017 - 2018 academic year.

Notably, the Da Nang team ranked 1st at the National Youth Informatics Contests for 3 consecutive years.

“Mrs Loan has set a shining example for other teachers about her self-study and creativity. She is a passionate and enthusiastic teacher who has high sense of responsibility for her pupils and school. She has always created more motivation for her pupils to develop their creativeness”, Mrs Truong Thi Nha Truc, Headmistress of the Phu Dong Primary School, remarked.
