Over 300 scientists attend Pan Asian Biomedical Science Conference
The 4th Pan Asian Biomedical Science Conference, themed ‘Biomedicine in the 21st Century: Insights from Asia’, is taking place in Da Nang from 5 – 7 December.

Jointly organised under the aegis of the University of Da Nang and the Asia International Science Consortium, the event attracts the participations of 300 scientists, scholars, experts, doctors, university lecturers and honoured guests from Viet Nam, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and other countries and territories worldwide.
The 3-day conference features a total of 6 tracks that are relevant to clinicians, basic scientists, and health care professionals: Clinical translation; Traditional medicine; Personalized medicine; Risk assessment; Medical devices; and Bioinformatics and High thoroughput data.
More than 20 research reports in total regarding traditional medicine made by experts from Viet Nam, Malaysia and Thailand will be presented at this year’s event.
These documents feature the latest developments in medical research activities into cancer, obesity, diabetes, osteoporosis, artificial insemination.
The conference helps to appeal for domestic universities, research institutes, scientists and experts to fostering their cooperation with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy at the University of Da Nang, and the city-based Viet Nam-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK) in promoting the research, development, application of the latest research achievements in biomedicine.
