Ways to promote sustainable tourism development discussed
The Da Nang-based Duy Tan University has hosted an international scientific seminar titled ‘Promoting tourism development in a sustainable manner in central localities’ in the city.

The event has been attended by researchers, experts, and lecturers from universities, institutes and tourism businesses at home and abroad.
During the seminar, discussions have focused on effective ways to develop sea and island tourism, cultural-historical and eco-tourism, promote regional links and sustainable tourism development between central regional localities, improve the quality of tourism services, enhance the State management of tourism sector, and train high-quality human resources meeting the requirements of international integration.
Also at the event, some experts have underlined the role of local citizens in joining forces with the local authorities to protect environment and preserve cultural heritages.
In addition, the importance of improving traffic infrastructure, and issuing even more preferential policies for tourism activities have been highlighted.
Moreover, the significance of regularly collecting and effectively handling opinions and feedback about travel and accommodation services in the city from tourism website visitors has been underscored.
