The closure of nurseries, schools and universities across Da Nang has been extended for two more weeks due to coronavirus outbreak, the municipal Department of Education and Training has announced.
The closures began on 3 February and will last until 12 April.
The city has been implementing a television teaching programme for pupils in 9-12 grades, helping them prepare for the upcoming national high school exams.
The municipal Department of Education and Training has asked all schools in the city to use software of such telecom firms as Viettel, VNPT, and FPT to promote their online teaching during coronavirus school closures.
