20 billion VND bailout to be given to university students in the city amid coronavirus pandemic
The University of Da Nang (UDN) and its member schools will give a 20 billion VND bailout for their students amid coronavirus financial hardship.

Students will have their tuition fees reduced by 5% for the 2nd semester of the 2019-2020 academic year with a total amount of reduced tuition fees reaching about 13 billion VND.
The beneficiaries are all full-time, service education and graduate students at all UDN member schools.
Besides, financial aids will be given to online learners, whilst scholarships will be granted to poor students during the pandemic.
Also, the deadlines for tuition and fee payments for the 2019-2020 academic year will be extended.
Meanwhile, the remaining 7 billion VND will be used to implement preventive measures at schools after students come back.
