During the coronavirus pandemic, Viet Nam has seen a boom in demand for online learning as thousands of pupils and students have been off school for more than three months and have turned to online learning platforms.
To grasp this opportunity, the Ahub startup company has developed a free e-learning platform called ACS (Ahub Conference Solution).
Users can visit https://cs.ahub.vn/ without downloading or logging in the app in order to open the chat window and invite others to join the meeting. Ahub can run meetings, with up to 50 people on video each.
The company’s Ahub solution is extremely easy to use. Even our friends and relatives with zero technical know-how can join a meeting just by clicking a link.
Developed by a group of skilled Vietnamese IT engineers, their solution meets the information security requirements under Vietnamese laws.
KUUHO app was introduced in October 2019 and it helps users send their comments and complaints relating to urban, environmental, administrative and tourism-related services to the municipal authorities.
In early April, this app was updated with new features in order to facilitate local residents to report the Covid-19 situation in their residential areas, and any disease-related cases, to the municipal government. For instance, users can connect directly to the city’s helplines for Covid-19 concerns and questions. Also, they can send their comments and complaints about actions that threaten to protect the health of the community during the pandemic, or call for help from the community when needed.
Comments and complaints given by local residents on the KUUHO app will be automatically transferred to the website https://gopy.danang.gov.vn/. Relevant departments and agencies will then be required to reply to complainants and deal with their reported issues. All the answers will be available at both https://gopy.danang.gov.vn/ and the KUUHO app.
The Thanh Khe District-based Multi Vietnam JSC has designed and developed anti-sleep glasses for drivers who carry passengers from Da Nang International Airport to quarantined sites. It is a device for keeping awake a driver that is about to fall asleep when driving.
Director of the Thanh Khe District-based Multi Vietnam JSC Le Hoang Anh said MultiGlass consists of 3 separate versions based on main technology platforms, namely IoT, iris recognition, and artificial intelligence (AI).
He remarked this product analyses the eyes of the driver and automatically send a drowsiness alert 30 minutes in advance to a tiny horn attached on the glass’s frame. Then, the horn will sound to help driver avoid drowsy driving, hereby minimising the risk of traffic crashes involving drowsy driving.
