All primary and preschool pupils across Da Nang went back to school on Monday, 21 September, for the first time after around 3 weeks of online learning due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Strict precautionary measures under the Ministry of Health’s rules have been put in place in all primary and pre-schools citywide in a bid to ensure the ultimate safety of all their staff and pupils while they are in school.
School staff and healthcare workers staffed right at school gates to ask pupils and children to have their body temperatures checked, and clean their hands before entering their classrooms.
Primary schools organised welcoming ceremonies for Year 1 pupils and presented them helmets on the occasion of the new 2020-2021 academic year.
Below are some photos, captured by our reporter Ngoc Phu, showing the best practices of infection prevention and control in primary and preschools citywide in order to make school staff and pupils feel secure while they are in school.
