Teachers across Da Nang, on Monday, were busy cleaning up their schools to welcome their pupils back after torrential downpours battered Da Nang over the past week.

Statistics released by the municipal Department of Education and Training show that downpours caused disruption, with floods affecting 12 schools in Hoa Vang District but there were no reports of human and property damages.

Below are some photos, taken by our reporter Ngoc Phu, about cleanup activities at schools citywide.
