Having a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance from university of Da Nang, 28-year-old Trinh Cong Quang  has risen to fame of becoming the founder cum director of a renowned technology company in the city. In his perspectives, all knowledge grasped from tertiary study can considerably be useful to help him become a sucessful entrepreneur, and there’s no reason to stop any outreach to new discovery in the IT realm.

With an inclination to start a business, Quang set up the Digital Transformation Solution Company (DTS) in Da Nang. The company involves the development of technological innovations and new applications for businesses such as Digital Twin, Map4D, 3D, Virtual Reality (VR), IoT, Cloud, Big Data, AI and Blockchain.

A digital twin is a digital replica of a living or non-living physical entity. Digital twin refers to a digital replica of potential and actual physical assets (physical twin), processes, people, places, systems and devices that can be used for various purposes. The digital representation provides both the elements and the dynamics of how an IoT device operates and lives throughout its life cycle.

Over recent times, DTS has gradually lured a large number of clients, including hotels, buildings and supermarkets.

The company's leader product is VR360 (https://vr360.com.vn/), which provides a comprehensive image marketing solution for businesses via using the company's strengths. This technology involves using digital models to better understand and manage physical assets.

In particular, VR360 offers a solution to the hospitality and the travel bans all over the world. VR has become an increasingly critical resource, allowing prospective guests, tour operators and travel agents to utilise virtual real tours and experiences.

In which, one of the biggest projects that DTS has ever participated in is digitizing the heritage road of Central Viet Nam. Over the six –month duration, Quang and his collegues made joint efforts to build digital replicas for 20 landmarks on the heritage trail stretching from Thua Thien -Hue to Quang Nam provinces.

Most prominent amongst DTS-developed VR360 products is virtual reality platform VRFair, which is being applied in the organisation of the Da Nang Startup and Innovation Festival (SURF 2020), the biggest annual international startup conference and exhibition in Central Viet Nam.

In more details, each entrant is required to create a virtual booth in the form of a 3D model on the platform VRFair boasting high quality and reliability. This online booth must display the name, the logo, highly inviting images, videos and necessary documents on the entry.

In particular, this much-awaited event is expected to offer the chance for the ‘made in Da Nang’ technology to be introduced to the startup community both at home and overseas.

Quang is planning to expand his company’s customer network, especially in Southern Viet Nam, in tandem with focusing on developing such other highly-practical IT solutions as virtual reality tourism mapping platforms and virtual online conferences.

In Quang’s point of view, ‘Fail Fast, Fail Smart, Fail Forward’ is a mantra which is of great significance to all startup founders. Developing start-up projects is very tough as challenges, difficulties, and even repeated failures can become inevitable startup problems. Many failures that did not deeply upset such a strong-willed person holding strong passion for startups like him, and he had learnt valuable experience from his failure instead.
