Work commenced on medicine and pharmacy training- technology centre in Da Nang

Work commenced on Thursday on a 200 billion VND medicine and pharmacy training and technology centre under the University of Da Nang (UDN) in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang.

The new development is one of the most important items over the 2018 – 2020 period under the 300ha large-scale Da Nang University project, which encompass 110ha in Hoa Quy Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Da Nang, plus 190ha in Dien Ngoc Ward, Dien Ban District, Quang Nam Province.

The new centre will comprise academic, practice and experiment venues with a total gross internal floor area of 8,127 m2 exclusively dedicated to students from the Faculty of Medicine – Pharmacy under the UDN, and a five-storey office building for the Viet Nam - Korea University of Information Technology and Communications covering a total gross internal floor area of 6,950m2.

Besides, the new centre will be designed well with power and water supply, drainage, ventilation, air-conditioning and other technical systems.

The centre is expected to be completed by late June, 2022, meeting the requirements of training, scientific research and working for the UDN member schools.
