Da Nang schools take preventive actions amid coronavirus fears
Over recent days, all schools across Da Nang have taken proactive precautions in an attempt to prevent both teaching staff and pupils from potential exposure to Covid-19 in light of the complicated developments of the pandemic.
Director of Da Nang Department of Education Le Thi Bich Thuan said all schools across the city have put in place virus preventive measures under the Ministry of Health’s rules. School staff and healthcare workers are standing by school gates to ask pupils to have their temperatures checked, and clean their hands before entering their classrooms.
In addition, school staff, teachers and pupils are advised to wear face coverings in public places, avoid large gatherings, and regularly clean up and disinfect their classrooms and surrounding environment as a way of preventing the spread of the virus.
Of special note, Da Nang schools are asked to actively prepare for teaching online if the coronavirus situation increasingly becomes more complicated in the time ahead.
Below are some photos, captured by our reporter Ngoc Phu, showing the best practices of infection prevention and control in Da Nang schools to ensure the safety of all their staff and pupils in order make them feel secure while they are in schools.
