The deadline for students across Da Nang to submit their applications for the municipal-level Scientific Research Contest 2021 will be extended to June 30, instead of May 25 as initially slated.

The deadline for applications may continue to be adjusted based on the COVID-19 situations in the city.

The contest’s timelines will also be adjusted and notified to the contestants after the application submissions.

Organised by the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the municipal Youth Union, the contest aims to honour students' entries meeting such criteria as novelty, creativity, research methods and techniques, applicability, socio-economic and technical efficiency and the form of presentation of the final reports.

The 30 best entries will go advance to the contest’s final round during which VND 5 million in aid will be granted to each entry in the aspects of natural science, engineering science and technology, medicine and pharmacy, agricultural science, whilst VND3 million will go to those involved in the field of social sciences and humanities.
