Screening tests offered to around 3,000 personnel staffing exam venues for 10th-grade entrance exams
Medical workers in Da Nang on Saturday morning took a combined throat and nose swab of around 3,000 people staffing exam venues for the upcoming 10th-grade entrance exams for the 2021-2022 school year to test for COVID-19. Included were inspectors, exam administrators, police, and security guards.

The persons who get free COVID-19 testing went to the testing site at the Phan Chau Trinh Senior High School between 7 am to 10 am, and they were divided into five groups at different times table in order to ensure social distancing for the testing site.
During the sampling, all the tested people were required to stay in compliance with protective measures against COVID-19, including making health declarations, wearing facemasks, disinfecting their hands, keeping a safe distance from others, and joining the queue whilst waiting for their turns to have their swabs taken.
In addition, they were asked to stay at home and limit their contact with others pending their test results which are expected to be released soon.
All swab samples of these people will be sent to the Da Nang Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to test for the virus. The Da Nang CDC will perform a 'pooled test' with samples of up to 10 people in order to save time and resources.
More than 13,000 candidates who will sit for the upcoming 10th-grade entrance exams will have their swab samples taken for COVID-19 testing on Sunday morning.
