Like others across Viet Nam, a combined total of 12,716 candidates in Da Nang started the national senior high school graduation exam on Wednesday morning at 31 citywide exam venues with the Literature test. They will sit for the Mathematics test on 2.20pm today.

As observed, the exam is underway with strict virus-prevention measures in place in order to ensure candidates’ adherence to precautionary measures and preventive guidelines against COVID-19 to protect themselves and others, including wearing a face mask, having their body temperature measured, disinfecting their hands, and keeping a safe distance from others.

In particular, a total of 41 primary and secondary COVID contacts are taking tests at a special exam venue with 12 rooms at Ngu Hanh Son District-located Vo Chi Cong Senior High. They are arranged to sit in different rooms with no more than 12 candidates per exam room.

The COVID contacts are required to don protective outfits during their way from their sealed-off places of residence and quarantined sites to this special exam venue on specialised vehicles, have their body temperature checked, their hands disinfected, and use new medical masks before entering exam rooms.
