The University of Da Nang (UD) has organised a webinar with Kangwon National University based in South Korea to discuss the establishment of an emergency unit at the UD Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The establishment of the emergency unit is within the framework of a project sponsored by the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOIKA) to strengthen human resources and first aid training capacity at UD.

Over the past time, the two sides have made great efforts to develop a training programme on CPR - Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and actively made preparations for the establishment of an emergency unit at the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy - the first model to be deployed in medical training universities in Viet Nam.
