The University of Da Nang (UDN) has earned a place in among the top six in Viet Nam on the Webometrics Rankings of World Universities that have been recently published. Indeed the University has moved up 57 places in the Webometrics Rankings.

The positive result was mainly attributed to UDN’s renewal of ways to access education-related information, and the synchronous connections between UDN and its school members, and their domestic and foreign educational partners.

The Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, also known as Ranking Web of Universities, is a ranking system for universities worldwide based on a composite indicator that takes into account both the volume of the Web contents (number of web pages and files), and the visibility and impact of these web publications according to the number of external links (site citations) they received.

It is an initiative of the Cybermetrics Lab, a research group belonging to the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the largest public research body in Spain.
