The Department of Informatization under the Ministry of Information and Communications has just launched the ‘Help Me!’ on-demand community connection platform, which aims to provide needed help to those affected by the ongoing COVID-19 wave.

Amid the complicated developments of the coronavirus resurgence with many medical facilities giving the priority to treating severe COVID-19 patients, ‘Help me!’ is expected to contribute to reducing the patient overload by mobilizing a network of medical professionals everywhere to help mild ones.

One outstanding feature on the ‘Help Me!’ is to help app users connect wiith doctors whenever and wherever for medical advice, thus learning about how to take care of themselves.

Simply put, the user can send a request directly to the ‘Help Me’ from the smartphone, this app will fetch a suitable medical professional instantly for connection.

The doctor and the user can communicate with each other via text messages or video calls for medical advice and consultancy.

Besides, ‘Help Me!’ is on course to expand its features to support those affected by the coronavirus outbreak such as sharing essential items or ways to overcome other difficulties triggered by the pandemic.

‘Help Me!’ is a completely free app available on both iOS and Android operating systems. Android users can download the app from CH Play (Google Play) on their phones. Similarly, iOS users can do the same with the App Store.
